Groundbreak will be held on September 19-20, 2023. Preconference activities, including Procore Workshops, will be held on September 18, 2023.
We plan to host Groundbreak 2023 in person at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL.
Our cancellation policy provides flexibility in case your plans change.
All cancellation requests must be submitted to groundbreak@procore.com via email. The deadline to receive a full refund is August 31, 2023, 11:59pm (PST). No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received after August 31, 2023.

Groundbreak registration is closed. If you do not have a ticket but still want to catch the action, you can livestream the opening day keynote and select recorded sessions by registering for Groundbreak Live.
You must be at least 18 years of age to attend Groundbreak. You must be at least 21 years old to attend the Groundbreak Bash (offsite).
The official language of the conference is English. All keynotes, breakout sessions, and product theater sessions in the Expo Hall will be presented in English.

It has come to our attention that unauthorized third party companies have presented themselves as hotel booking agencies for Groundbreak 2023 and have attempted to contact conference exhibitors and attendees to make hotel reservations using their services. Please note: OnPeak is our sole hotel booking agency partner for this year’s conference. Neither Procore nor the hotels listed on our conference website has a relationship with any of these companies outside of OnPeak. No other housing company nor travel agency is authorized to place hotel reservations on behalf of Procore. Reservations made through any other agency outside of OnPeak cannot be guaranteed and may result in additional charges, incorrect hotel placement, or inflated room rates for other conference participants. If you registered for a preconference activity, like Procore Workshops held on September 18, we suggest traveling and arriving the evening of September 17.
If you are not participating in a preconference activity, but are planning to attend the entire conference, we suggest arriving the afternoon of September 18, to ensure you’re able to check-in and participate in our opening networking event. Keynotes and breakout sessions will begin the morning of September 19.
There are two airports to choose from in Chicago:
Chicago O’Hare

Approximately 20 miles to the McCormick Place Convention Center.
Chicago Midway (MDW)
5700 S Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60638
Approximately 10 miles to the McCormick Place Convention Center.
Transportation services will not be provided at Groundbreak. Both Chicago O’Hare and Midway airports have public transportation options and taxi services available. Visit the airport websites to plan your travel to and from the airport.
Additionally, the official Groundbreak hotels are located close to the McCormick Convention Center, which makes a quick walk the most convenient mode of transportation in the area.
Procore will not sponsor visas for Groundbreak attendees. All attendees are responsible for obtaining any visas, sponsorships, or other required documentation.
The health and safety of all Groundbreak participants is of utmost importance to Procore. We will be taking necessary precautions and abiding by all applicable local, state, and federal safety measures and requirements. See McCormick Place policies and the City of Chicago policies for more information.
All Groundbreak participants are expected to follow reasonable and common safety practices when visiting a metropolitan center.

Session registration is now open. All Groundbreak ticket holders should have been notified via email and received a personalized link to build their custom agenda. Session registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some sessions will reach capacity prior to the event. We recommend selecting your sessions as soon as session registration opens.
All keynotes and sessions will be presented in English. Translations will not be available.

Procore Workshops will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago.
Session registration for Procore Workshops will be available in late June. Those who registered for the Full Conference + Workshop Pass will be notified via email once session registration opens.
Groundbreak Live is a virtual option to watch the Opening Day Keynote livestream, and select on-demand breakout sessions.

Yes, even if you miss the livestreamed keynote, all sessions will remain available as on-demand recordings you can revisit at your own pace.
The Groundbreak Bash will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20.
The Groundbreak Bash will be held at the United Center, located at 1901 W Madison St, Chicago, IL.
Yes, shuttles will be provided to Groundbreak registrants attending the Bash. Shuttles will run to and from Groundbreak partner hotels to the United Center.
Yes, food and drinks will be included at the Groundbreak Bash.
All full conference attendees and Bash Guest ticket holders age 21 years and older are encouraged to join us!
Bash Guest Passes will not be available for purchase onsite. All Guest Passes must be purchased in advance at procore.com/groundbreak/registration.
All Bash attendees must wear their conference badge – this is your ticket to the event. Remember to leave our bags and personal belongings in the hotel room.

Procore will not tolerate any harassing or abusive behavior towards any participant—including, but not limited to, uninvited or unwelcome physical contact or attention or insults, jokes, or content that is obscene or denigrates a person based on gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, national origin, religion, or political affiliation. Further, the use of fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content and/or engagement in illegal activity is prohibited.
